Nadat onze reis naar Thailand en Laos was afgesloten, vroeg Vithaya ons of we iets konden schrijven of delen over de grensovergang en de ervaring tussen beide landen. Het grappige was dat wij beiden bij de grens het idee hadden dat we helemaal niet Thailand uitgingen. Dat kwam pas toen het landschap veranderde!
We stapten aan de ene kant uit een goede wagen en aan de andere kant in een goede wagen. Beide chauffeurs hadden een flesje water in hun handen en de Thaise gids sprak met de gids in Laos over de telefoon om er zeker van te zijn waar het ontmoetingspunt was. Zeer goed geregeld. Het beste was nog de zogenaamde VIP behandeling. De gids in Laos vertelde ons dat Bespoke Laos dit vaker doet om zo te zorgen dat de immigratie snel te werk gaat en dat klanten niet lang in de brandende zon hoeven te wachten. Perfect geregeld dus!
